Enforcement
Enforcement of regulations is neccessary for all road users. It ensures that regulations are respected and that the capacity of the road is maintained for through traffic.
How would enforcement change?
Where they are implemented, Red Route regulations provide clear lining and signing to indicate who can stop and when.
Specific bays are provided for loading/unloading and parking with signing clearly showing any time restrictions.
Where it is and isn't permitted to stop is clearly indicated using red lines, the time for which limits apply is clearly advertised
using signs.
Whatever happens, enforcement will still be carried out by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Wardens, and Civil Enforcement Officers.
